Alayna Serpa is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire in Human Development and Family Science and continued her education at Boston College, where she earned her master’s degree in clinical social work with a concentration in children, youth, and families. Alayna has furthered her passion by obtaining certification from the Institute of Integrative Health and Nutrition as a certified Integrative Health Coach. This certification underscores her commitment to incorporating holistic approaches to health and wellness into her therapeutic practice, enriching the lives of her clients through a comprehensive perspective on healing.
Alayna carries a professional background in a variety of clinical and social work roles. She has worked as both an ongoing and adolescent social worker for the Department of Children and Families, as well as a school adjustment social worker at Billerica Memorial High School. Her approach is relational and strengths-based, drawing upon evidence-based treatment approaches, including motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, internal family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy. By creating a warm, non-judgmental environment, Alayna strives to empower her clients to achieve their goals while cultivating enduring resilience.
